    Ney

The Turkish ney is an end-blown flute commonly made from reed. Many instruments have six front finger holes and one rear thumb hole, but dimensions, key and range vary. Some neys use a başpare at the blowing end and protective rings called parazvane; materials and fittings differ by model. A ney player may be called a neyzen.

    Zurna

The zurna is a double-reed wind instrument used in several regional traditions and is often played with a drum in outdoor music. Sizes, keys, hole layouts and woods vary; confirm the exact dimensions, material and reed supplied with each instrument.

    Kaval

Kaval is a name used for several flutes, including rim-blown and duct-flute forms. Instruments may be made in different keys, lengths and materials and can use different fingering systems. Check the model rather than assuming one universal hole count or range.

    Mey

The mey is a double-reed instrument with a cylindrical body. Its size, key, wood, reed and fingering depend on the model. The reed may include a clamp or lip support; confirm the included parts on the product page.

    G clarinet

The G clarinet is a clarinet transposed in G and is used in several Turkish and regional performance styles. Key system, body material, mouthpiece, barrel and included accessories vary between models.
