About the Book
The book brings together the compositions of oud player and composer Ara Dinkjian. Musicologist Burcu Yıldız's introduction presents Dinkjian's musical life story and an analysis of his work. Photographs and accounts from artists who have crossed paths with Dinkjian are also included.
Ara Dinkjian explains that requests for the sheet music of his compositions led to the project. He initially proposed a collection of approximately twenty pieces, while Aras Publishing preferred a book covering all of his compositions, together with a biography and photographs.
