It a mediocre Riq. Finishing is not amazing and sound is okay. I expected a bit more for 250$

This is a beautiful instrument. The craftsmanship is impressive. The sound is absolutely amazing too - it is the real deal - the authentic riq sound. I know that because I compared it to five others, none of which produced the right sound quality, although some had their merits. For my riq, I placed a tiny piece of moon gel near the rim to reduce the overtones just a little, but that is my preference. I’m really enjoying learning the instrument properly, and would highly recommend the online riq course at framedrumschool.org.

This is a great Rigg- a pro instrument!Quality wood & braze, clear strong head .Helpful staff on sellers end. Thanks, John

Needed a professional quality riqq for early music performance, and this is perfect!Well made, with great sounding jingles, and can be tuned, an important feature. It arrived in good time, too!Glad I purchased this one.
